Composer, Instrumentalist and Music Producer Steve Kornicki has been involved in many aspects of the music industry for over 20 years and has taught over 100 private students. Aside from music instruction, he has been active in performance, studio recording, music libraries, composition, audio/video production, desktop music notation publication and music copyright. He can seamlessly move between musical styles as diverse as classical, jazz, and rock and everything in between.

At age 9, Steve began studying piano with his mother and immediately began composing his own music on piano. He attended and graduated from the prestigious Settlement Music School in Philadelphia where he studied classical and jazz composition, guitar, bass and music theory. He has worn many musical hats including orchestral composer, music and audio producer and dynamic performer in musical groups of diverse styles. While his original music is being heard on television and radio around the world, he is simultaneously working behind the scenes as an audio producer and recording engineer facilitating his own recording studio and managing his music publishing company Fragmented View Music/BMI.

Whether instructing children, teens or adults in guitar or keyboard, Steve incorporates all aspects of music in the lesson from basic instrumental technique to music theory to ear training to creative composition and improvisation. All these elements are essential for the student to fully grasp the complex and beautiful nature of music. Combining all these elementary principles into one unique method, Steve is proud to say that he has seen his students go on to college, perform professionally and simply enjoy the wonderful feeling of accomplishment that music can bring.
